SWGP Subsidy Platform – Digitizing Agricultural Subsidies for Transparency and Impact

Project Goal
The Sindh Government’s subsidy verification and monitoring process for the SWGP Subsidy Platform had to be digitized for the first time while maintaining transparency, accuracy, and efficiency at scale. The platform had to process hundreds of thousands of farmers’ records, aid field verification via mobile application, and present real-time analytics to government officials through a centralized dashboard.
The Problem
Three core principles of the SWGP Subsidy Platform are Transparency, Accuracy, and Scalability. It sought to digitize the Sindh Government’s process for the submission and monitoring of subsidies. The system had to manage and analyze data pertaining to hundreds of thousands of farmers, support field verification through an associated mobile application, and provide government users with real-time data analytics through a centralized dashboard.
The App Idea
The SWGP platform was envisioned as a complete digital ecosystem connecting field officers, farmers, and government administrators. A mobile app would allow Mukhtars and field staff to verify farmers on-site using CNIC, land records, GPS-tagged photos, and sowing data. Live updates on verified farmers, pending cases, land coverage, district performance, and subsidy progress might be provided by government employees through a web-based dashboard across Sindh.
Client’s Expectations
The Sindh Government needed a system that is secure, scalable, and audit-friendly, with the ability to handle large volumes of data, and not fail. However, the system needed to be simple enough for field staff to use while powerful enough to allow senior officials to see full operations. Accurate, data-integrity, and real-time reporting were a must.

TekScrum built a strong multi-layer system with a field verification mobile application and a detailed administrative dashboard. On-ground officers using the mobile app can verify farmers, take and GPS tag photos of crops, note the sowing status, and sync data with the central system. The dashboard provides analytics in real-time. Officers can see verified, pending, and rejected farmers, land coverage, district performance, Mukhtar activity, and government review reports. The whole system is built with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
The Result
An important step toward digitalization and data-driven transparency in a formerly opaque government procedure was the SWGP Subsidy Platform. The decision-makers reaped benefits such as shorter verification times, more accurate data, and complete openness about the distribution of subsidies among districts. This system would allow the Sindh government to manage agricultural subsidies in an open, efficient, and dependable manner, ensuring that aid reaches worthy farmers at the right time.
