ProdIQ – Intelligent Production Monitoring and Quality Control

Project Goal
The goal of ProdIQ was to digitize production planning, line monitoring, and quality inspection into a single unified system. The platform needed to help production managers track output, identify delays early, and maintain consistent quality standards while enabling floor workers to perform inspections quickly and accurately using a tablet-based interface.
The Problem
Production companies often rely on manual logs, disconnected spreadsheets, and delayed reporting to track daily output and quality issues. This results in poor visibility into real-time progress, late identification of defects, and difficulty in holding teams accountable. Quality checkers lack structured tools to record defects visually, while management struggles to predict delays and optimize production timelines.
The App Idea
ProdIQ was conceived as an end-to-end production intelligence platform with separate experiences for administrators and factory workers. Admin dashboards provide a live overview of orders, lines, daily targets, completed units, delays, and expected completion dates. A tablet-based app allows workers to record inspections, select defect zones, log issues with visual references, and mark items for rework or rejection directly on the production floor.
Client’s Expectations
The client wanted a fast, reliable, and easy-to-use system that could operate in a high-volume manufacturing environment. They expected real-time production insights, predictive delay indicators, structured defect tracking, and a clean interface that workers could adopt with minimal training. Scalability and accuracy were critical, as the platform would be used across multiple production lines and teams.

The admin side delivers clear KPIs such as total pieces, completed units, remaining targets, daily delays, and expected delivery impact, along with planning tools for lines and templates. The worker interface enables precise quality inspections through zone-based defect selection, visual defect references, and instant rework or rejection logging. The system synchronizes all data in real time, giving management full operational visibility.
