How is this different from a general ERP?
Because it only does packaging. It knows GSM, BF, flute, deckle, ups, plates, dies, ECT, BS. Your estimator does no arithmetic: enters L×W×H, style, ply, flute and quantity, and PackFlow builds the rate from board, process, labour, wastage and margin. A general ERP will get there after a year of consultants; we're there on day one.
Can it run corrugated, carton and flexible together?
Yes. Each trade has its own arithmetic (reels vs sheets vs microns and yield). PackFlow handles all three, and if you make more than one, they sit in the same system with the same customers, orders and reports.
How long does implementation take?
Stage 1 (estimating, scheduling, job cards, tooling, QA, users) goes live in 6 weeks. Stage 2 (job costing, subcontractor, reels & material, purchase) in 12. Stage 3 (dispatch, invoicing, receivables, full reports) in 18. Priorities can be re-ordered if stock matters more to you than dispatch.
Does the floor need good internet?
No. Digital job cards run on ordinary Android tablets and phones, work offline, and sync when the internet returns. Urdu labels are available alongside English for floor screens.
Do we own our data?
Yes, completely. Cloud or on-premise, your data can be exported at any time. Daily automatic backups. Nothing is hostage.
What about partial production: pauses, breakdowns, moves?
First-class behaviour, not a workaround. Every process holds a list of runs, each with the machine actually used, operator, shift, good qty, waste qty and reason. A resumed run charges restart wastage, not a full make-ready. A job that runs 4,000 on Machine A and 6,000 on Machine B is costed against both machines' rates.
Is this a financial accounting package?
No. We do sales, costing, production, stock, dispatch, invoicing and receivables. Your ledgers, tax filing and financial statements stay with your accountant or your existing accounting software; we export cleanly to it. We'd rather do the packaging side perfectly than do everything adequately.
